How to post LATEX equations in the forums

LATEX equations are supported in this forum. To post equations, enclose the equations as \( \$\$ \cdots \$\$ \) for posting equations per line. For posting inline equations use the syntax \( \setminus ( \cdots \setminus ) \)

Example:
Shockley ideal diode equation:
\(\$\$\)I = I_S e^{\left(\frac{V_D}{nV_T}-1 \right)}\(\$\$\)

Rendered as:
$$ I = I_S e^{\left(\frac{V_D}{nV_T}-1 \right)} $$

If you are unfamiliar with LATEX equations, you can use the Codecogs online equation editor to form your equations and paste it in your questions and replies
